Edge Glued Style Laminations

Edge Glued Lamination is the most requested top that we offer. Uses include tables, counters, mantels, Etc.

Any species or thickness that we offer can be laminated except for Teak and Ipe.
Boards ranging from 4-8" are laminated together in an alternating pattern to ensure the top stays flat.
We can laminate tops up to 48" in width. Any top wider than this can be made into multiple slabs that equal the desired width. The customer will have to join the slabs on their own.
All tops will be ripped to the customer's desired width and planed and sanded to 100 grit. It is still recommended that the customer begin at 80 grit on a random orbital sander and work through different grits to remove all scratches from the milling process. It is not a finished product.
At this time, the customer will be responsible for making the end cut to length. Add a $100 fee for us to cut to length for you.

Butcher Block Style

Strips of wood are ripped from your lumber of choice and then laminated to create a solid top. To accurately price a Butcher Block Style top for you, we need the following information:

Species of Wood
Width (max 48")
Length
Thickness of Top
Width of Strips (typically, the thinner the strip, the more expensive the top will be due to labor costs in milling and assembly)

All tops are surfaced, planed, and sanded (100 Grit) to thickness. We will make tops to customers' desired thickness and width, and the customer is responsible for cutting to their finished length.
